Our culture is built on the core values: smart, honest, nice, and passionate.Corporate Accounting ManagerWe are seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to oversee general accounting operations, financial reporting, and month‑end close activities. The role includes managing accounting staff, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls, and supporting the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements. This position requires a hands‑on leader with strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical capabilities, and a track record of improving accounting processes. A mandatory hybrid schedule is required.Primary ResponsibilitiesManage a team and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Lead the month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Review and approve account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules.Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements and variance reports.Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff to support team performance and professional growth.Partner with FP&A, tax, payroll, treasury, and operational teams on financial reporting and business initiatives.Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency within accounting operations.Support ERP system implementations, upgrades, and process optimization projects.Assist with technical accounting research and preparation of accounting memos as needed.Assist Corporate Controller with research and resolution of questions.Complete other ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (or relevant experience).CPA certification preferred.6–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or management experience.Commercial Real Estate or other service industry experience preferred.In‑depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.Experience leading a team strongly preferred.Experience with ERP systems such as Yardi and Workday is a plus.High level of confidentiality and integrity.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.Stream is an equal‑opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, military status, or any other reason prohibited by law.Stream offers competitive compensation, bonuses, medical/dental/vision insurance, pharmacy benefits, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) plan with company matching, PTO, and holiday pay.
