Corporate Associate Attorney

I'm working with a well-respected Chicago law firm that's expanding and adding a Corporate Associate with 3-5 years of substantive experience in business transactions, corporate governance and compliance, private equity, securities offerings, and M&A.

What you'll do:

- Negotiate and draft business agreements

- Close private equity and venture capital investment transactions

- Draft private placement offerings for small businesses and investment funds

- Organize LLCs and corporations and draft all organizational documents

What you'll bring:

- 3-5 years of substantive corporate transactional experience

- Superior communication, drafting, writing, and research skills, plus strong analytical and critical-thinking skills

- Ability to work independently and manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
