Corporate Controller Responsibilities

• 
  

• Oversee all corporate accounting operations, including month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and treasury functions

  
  
• 
  

• Manage Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting, Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting, and job costing across approximately 400 active construction projects

  
  
• 
  

• Ensure accurate revenue recognition, project profitability reporting, and over/under billings

  
  
• 
  

• Lead, mentor, and develop the corporate accounting team while providing guidance to Regional Controllers

  
  
• 
  

• Partner with executive and regional leadership to analyze financial results and improve operational performance

  
  
• 
  

• Oversee monthly close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting

  
  
• 
  

• Coordinate annual audits and maintain relationships with external auditors

  
  
• 
  

• Strengthen internal controls, streamline accounting processes, and identify opportunities for efficiency

  
  
• 
  

• Take a hands-on approach to accounting operations while balancing strategic leadership responsibilities

  
  
• 
  

Corporate Controller Qualifications

• 
  

• Construction accounting experience required

  
  
• 
  

• Strong Percentage of Completion (POC) and Work-in-Progress (WIP) accounting experience required

  
  
• 
  

• Previous Controller or senior accounting leadership experience

  
  
• 
  

• Strong understanding of job costing, project profitability, revenue recognition, and over/under billings

  
  
• 
  

• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing accounting teams

  
  
• 
  

• Viewpoint Spectrum experience highly preferred

  
  
• 
  

• Experience in a private equity-backed or multi-entity organization is a plus

  
  
• 
  

• Strong technical accounting background with expertise in financial reporting, month-end close, and reconciliations

  
  
• 
  

• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to delegate effectively while remaining involved in the details

  
  
• 
  

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner confidently with executive leadership

Salary Range

$175,000-$195,000
