    Key Responsibilities

Credit Risk and Trade Receivables Management

    • Manage the trade receivables portfolio in line with global policy and applicable local requirements, maintaining complete credit documentation, approval records, and audit-ready files.

    • Assess customer creditworthiness and establish, approve, recommend, and monitor credit limits using financial information, payment history, market intelligence, and forward-looking risk indicators.

    • Identify and mitigate customer, sector, country, and geopolitical risks while supporting responsible business growth through commercially balanced credit terms, security, guarantees, and appropriate trade-finance structures

    Collections, Recovery, and Bad Debt

    • Lead collection and recovery strategies for overdue and materially delinquent accounts, partnering with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Legal, and external parties to resolve disputes, evaluate settlements, and accelerate cash collection.

    • Monitor aging, collection performance, dispute exposure, and cash-flow risk; drive timely escalation and corrective actions with accountable stakeholders.

    • Govern bad-debt reserves, write-offs, and recoveries in line with accounting policy and internal controls, while addressing root causes of late payments and recurring disputes through sustainable process and operational improvements.

    Reporting, Analytics, and Management Information

    • Develop clear credit and receivables reports and dashboards to monitor collections, aging, exposure, risks, and portfolio performance.
    • Use data analysis to identify payment trends, concentration risk, reserve exposure, collection opportunities, and emerging issues.
    • Communicate key portfolio insights, forecasts, risks, and recommended actions through concise management reports and business reviews.

    Systems, Process Transformation, and Projects

    • Lead and support credit and finance improvement projects, including process improvements, controls, automation, standardization, and data quality.

    • Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of credit, collections, receivables, and reporting systems through requirements, testing, documentation, and training.

    • Apply project-management practices to manage plans, risks, stakeholders, communications, and outcomes, while using approved AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency.

    Governance, Audit, and Stakeholder Partnership

    • Ensure compliance with Global Credit Policy, delegated authorities, internal controls, accounting requirements, trade-compliance practices, and audit requirements, including timely documentation and remediation actions.

    • Provide credit expertise, decision support, and guidance to Sales, Finance, business-unit leadership, shared-service teams, and other stakeholders on complex credit and risk matters.

    • Lead through influence in a matrix organization by aligning commercial, operational, and risk priorities, while coaching colleagues and promoting consistent credit and collections practices.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

    • Advanced degree preferred, such as an MBA, master's degree in Finance or Business Analytics, or a related discipline.

    • Professional credit certification preferred, such as Certified Credit Executive (CCE), Certified International Credit Professional (CICP), or an equivalent recognized credit or trade-finance credential.

    Experience

    • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in business credit, trade finance, receivables management, collections, or related commercial-finance roles.

    • Industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or multinational business experience is preferred.

    • Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to systems implementations, process-transformation initiatives, or finance technology projects.

    • Experience developing management reporting and visual analytics using Power BI or comparable tools is preferred.
