Company Summary

We are currently partnered with a top-tier technology and aerospace & defense consulting firm that serves as a trusted strategic partner to U.S. defense, intelligence, and federal agencies. The firm is looking to add a Corporate Development Analyst to its growing team in Washington, DC.

This individual will play an integral role in the evaluation and execution of M&A and strategic investment opportunities across the aerospace, defense, and technology sectors. The position offers significant exposure to senior leadership, hands-on transaction experience, and a clear path for growth within a collaborative and high-performing environment.

The Corporate Development Analyst will be responsible for:

• Supporting the evaluation and execution of M&A transactions and strategic investments.
• Conducting financial analysis, valuation, and modeling on potential acquisition targets.
• Performing industry, market, and company research across the Aerospace, Defense, and Technology sectors.
• Assisting with due diligence processes, transaction materials, and executive presentations.
• Developing financial models and business cases to support strategic decision-making.
• Preparing investment committee and board-level materials for senior leadership.

Corporate Development Analyst should have the following qualifications:

• 3 plus years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Transaction Advisory, or related M&A-focused roles.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Experience building presentations and communicating findings to senior stakeholders.
• Interest in the Aerospace & Defense, Government Services, or Technology sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
