Employment Type: Full-Time

The Opportunity

Alliance Resource Group is partnering with a well-established, globally recognized organization to identify a Corporate FP&A Manager for its Southern California headquarters.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Senior Financial Analyst ready to take the next step in their career, or an FP&A Manager looking for broader exposure to international operations, consolidated financial reporting, and executive-level decision support.

Reporting to an experienced and highly regarded Director of Finance, this individual will play a key role in consolidating financial performance across multiple international regions, supporting global budgeting and forecasting, and providing meaningful financial insights to senior leadership.

The company offers a collaborative finance team, strong leadership, exposure to a complex global business, and a reasonable work-life balance outside of peak planning cycles.
Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate regional P&Ls into comprehensive global financial reporting and analysis.

  • Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial reporting across international operations.

  • Analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts, identifying key business drivers, variances, and trends.

  • Support financial reporting across multiple international entities and nine currencies, including local currency analysis and USD consolidation.

  • Maintain and enhance Excel-based financial models, including P&L and cash flow forecasting.

  • Support the company's three-statement financial model, with opportunities to expand balance sheet modeling expertise.

  • Leverage Planful to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis.

  • Prepare financial reporting packages and presentations for executive leadership, the Board, and banking partners.

  • Partner with corporate department leaders on financial performance, spending, and forecasts.

  • Assist with financial process improvements and ongoing ERP enhancements, including a NetSuite implementation.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Approximately 5–10 years of progressive financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related experience.

  • Strong experience with P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

  • Some experience with cash flow analysis or forecasting.

  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including building and maintaining complex financial models.

  • Experience working in a multinational or multi-entity environment, ideally with international P&L consolidation.

  • Working knowledge of foreign currency translation and its impact on consolidated financial results.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate financial information effectively.

  • Experience with FP&A platforms or enterprise financial systems.

Preferred, but Not Required

  • Planful experience.

  • NetSuite experience.

  • Full three-statement modeling and balance sheet forecasting.

  • Experience preparing executive or Board-level reporting packages.
Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • Career Advancement: An opportunity for a high-performing Senior Financial Analyst to move into a Manager-level role.

  • Global Exposure: Work with international operations, multiple currencies, and consolidated financial reporting.

  • Strong Leadership: Report to a supportive, experienced Director of Finance who invests in the success and development of the team.

  • Meaningful Ownership: Take responsibility for critical financial reporting and forecasting processes with visibility to senior leadership.

  • Modernization: Participate in financial systems enhancements, automation, and process improvements.

  • Work-Life Balance: Hybrid schedule with three days onsite and a generally reasonable workload outside of peak budgeting periods.
