Location: Irvine, California

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $75,000 to $95,000 anually

Travel: Approximately 30 - 50%, including periodic overnight travel

Position Summary - Prudential Overall Supply seeks a Corporate Fleet Supervisor to support the maintenance, safety, compliance, and availability of a nationwide fleet of more than 400 assets across approximately 36 locations. The role works with plant teams, mechanics, drivers, vendors, and internal departments to control costs, maintain accurate records, and keep vehicles in service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repairs, inspections, registrations, and vehicle availability across company locations. Monitor preventive maintenance, overdue inspections, out-of-service units, repeat repairs, and extended downtime.
• Coordinate work with mechanics, dealerships, mobile providers, and third-party vendors. Review estimates and maintenance histories to recommend repair, replacement, transfer, or retirement.
• Audit repair invoices for labor, parts pricing, duplicate charges, and warranty opportunities; follow up on vendor performance and repair progress.
• Provide functional directions to plant mechanics and fleet contacts; set maintenance priorities, monitor assigned work, and escalate unresolved issues.
• Maintain accurate vehicle assignments, mileage, titles, registrations, warranties, and maintenance records. Coordinate interstate transfers with accounting, registration, and insurance teams, including depreciation updates.
• Monitor plates, permits, renewals, driver inspection reports, defect corrections, DOT and annual inspections, California BIT, emissions, and other applicable requirements.
• Support accident reporting, insurance claims, repairs, and return to service. Provide after-hours support for significant breakdowns, accidents, or compliance events when needed.
• Analyze utilization, downtime, preventive maintenance, repair costs, fuel use, idle time, miles per gallon, and fuel-card transactions; report trends and recommend improvements.
• Use fleet-management (Fleetio) and telematics systems (Samsara) to maintain and manage company fleet.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and respond to urgent issues outside normal hours when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least four (4) years of experience in fleet maintenance, transportation, vehicle operations, or a related field, including support of a multi-location fleet.
• Fleet-maintenance and prior supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, repair estimates, shop operations, DOT vehicle requirements, inspections, registrations, and maintenance documentation.
• Experience with medium-duty trucks, step vans, box trucks, tractors, trailers, and liftgates.
• Experience with Fleetio, Samsara, Fleetworthy, WEX, JPRO, or similar platforms; ASE, NAFA, CAFM, CDL, or related certification.
• Familiarity with California BIT, CARB, IRP, IFTA, multi-state registration, vehicle specifications, warranty recovery, and lifecycle costs.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Prudential Overall Supply offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and the approved salary range for the position.
