The Corporate Paralegal will support the corporate practice area in managing corporate governance, preparing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role can be based in Redwood City or San Francisco and is essential to the seamless operation of this practice area for a global firm.

Description

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate legal documents, including resolutions, agreements, and filings with regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain corporate records and ensure compliance with governance standards.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders on various legal matters.
  • Conduct legal research to support the legal team's activities.
  • Support due diligence processes and manage transactional documentation.
  • Manage and track deadlines for corporate filings and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with special legal projects as needed.

Profile

A successful Corporate Paralegal should have:

  • Experience with corporate governance and legal documentation.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with regulatory filings and compliance procedures.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
