    Job Description

Join a team known for delivering best-in-class experiences that bring people together. You'll help shape meaningful programs that elevate Corporate Responsibility priorities-working with partners across the firm and in the community to create events that make an impact.

As a Vice President, Corporate Responsibility Event Planner on the Corporate Meetings & Events Team (Firmwide Events), you will lead the strategy and execution of in-person and virtual programs that raise visibility of Corporate Responsibility initiatives and strengthen relationships with internal and external audiences. You'll manage multiple events at once-from large-scale programs to intimate roundtable dinners-while ensuring flawless delivery, strong stakeholder alignment, and operational excellence. You'll collaborate closely with Corporate Responsibility leadership, regional partners, and Finance & Business Management (F&BM) stakeholders to plan, track, and reconcile budgets and event activity.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Help lead end-to-end planning and execution of Corporate Responsibility events from concept through completion
    • Advise cross-functional partners with strategic recommendations to deliver high-quality, audience-relevant programming
    • Manage complex in-person and virtual events (approximately 10-500 attendees), balancing timelines, quality, and stakeholder expectations
    • Own event budgets, including forecasting, invoice processing, purchasing card reconciliation, and reporting
    • Maintain event calendars and data tracking with a focus on operational efficiency and accuracy
    • Run site selection processes, including RFPs, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation
    • Oversee invitations and RSVP management, producing regular and ad hoc attendance and status reports
    • Coordinate logistics including venue setup, catering, décor, audio/visual, speaker support, and run-of-show execution
    • Produce event materials (e.g., menus, security passes, directional signage) in partnership with design resources
    • Coordinate attendee travel and lodging, shipping of materials, onsite supplies, and day-of support (registration, setup, troubleshooting)
    • Ensure adherence to event standards while mitigating risk and compliance considerations across all programming

    Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

    • 6+ years experience in event and project management (or a closely related field)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey messages clearly and succinctly with senior leadership
    • Ability to think strategically, proactively solve problems, and develop creative, innovative solutions
    • Ability to manage projects across businesses, functions, and geographies, and build strong relationships with diverse audiences
    • Exceptional client focus and service ethic, with a high degree of professionalism, flexibility, good judgment, and discretion
    • Self-starter with strong ownership, exceptional organization, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to accuracy; able to multitask in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and event management/registration tools
    • Willingness to work extended hours as needed (including evenings/weekends) and travel up to 50%
