What You Will Do
Manage complex Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court workouts with limited partner oversight.
Draft and negotiate sophisticated legal documents, including restructuring support agreements and forbearance agreements.
Represent debtors, plan sponsors, and lenders throughout all phases of in-court and out-of-court restructurings.
Handle key aspects of 363 sales and plan sponsorship transactions.
Advise clients on sophisticated liability management transactions, including exchange offers and consent solicitations.
Collaborate closely with partners and clients to develop and execute effective restructuring strategies.
Leverage strong analytical skills to assess financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
Ideal Candidate Background
3–7 years of experience in a peer-tier BigLaw restructuring practice (class of 2018-2022).
Proven experience representing debtors, plan sponsors, or lenders in large, complex Chapter 11 cases.
Strong track record in company-side/buy-side representations and liability management transactions.
Excellent academic credentials from a top-tier law school.
Ability to draft and negotiate complex legal documents effectively.
Preferred
Experience with 363 sales and plan sponsorship transactions.
Familiarity with liability management strategies such as exchange offers and consent solicitations.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing restructuring strategies in a collaborative environment.
Compensation and Benefits
