    Job Title: Corporate Tax Senior Associate

    Location: [Dallas, TX, USA/Remote/Hybrid] 

    Employment Type: Full-Time

    About the Role

    As a Corporate Tax Senior Associate, you will be a key driver within our Corporate Tax Solutions team. This role is designed for a professional who thrives on variety—balancing business income tax planning, corporate compliance, and complex ASC 740 income tax accounting.

    You wont just be "doing taxes"; you will be managing primary client relationships and leading engagements from start to finish. Supported by our Washington National Tax Office (WNTO) and cutting-edge technology, you will have the autonomy to produce high-quality work while mentoring the next generation of tax professionals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Engagement Management: Run client engagements from inception to completion, including planning, executing, and managing budgets.
    • ASC 740 Excellence: Lead the primary review and preparation of income tax provision engagements and audit support.
    • Compliance & Review: Review tax returns prepared by staff, identifying accuracy improvements and tax-saving opportunities.
    • Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns; conduct performance reviews and act as the "in-charge" lead on projects.
    • Technical Advisory: Research complex tax matters and consult on various tax strategies; respond to inquiries from the IRS and state tax authorities.
    • Client Relationship: Maintain strong working relationships with client management to understand their operations, processes, and business objectives.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting.
    • Experience: 2–4 years of progressive experience in corporate tax compliance or consulting.
    • Technical Proficiency: Strong experience in ASC 740 tax provision preparation/review is highly preferred.
    • Certifications: CPA license (active or in progress) is preferred.
    • Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients and team members.
    • Background: Previous experience in public accounting is a significant plus.
    • Travel: Ability to travel as needed to meet client requirements.
