Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological screenings and assessments through clinical interviews and review of available records.
Collaborate closely with mental health providers, medical staff, and correctional leadership to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessment and level of functioning.
Perform regular rounds in segregation and specialized housing units to assess mental health needs and provide support.
Deliver crisis intervention, counseling, and preventative care to individuals experiencing psychological distress.
Consult with multidisciplinary staff, including healthcare, education, chaplaincy, and security teams to address behavioral concerns and promote mental well-being.
Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to professional standards of care.
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
Current, unrestricted state license to practice psychology
Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Licensed Psychologist
One year in a comparable setting (correctional, behavioral health, forensic, or related environments preferred).
