Pulse Clinical Alliance is hiring a Correctional Registered Nurse in Los Angeles, CA.

Job Details:

Contract: 20 weeks
Pay Rate: $71/hr for locals - $3,060/week for travelers
Shift: Evenings, a small amount of openings for nights and days - 40hrs/week
Experience: 1 year of Correctional RN experience

Requirements:

CA RN License
BLS
MAB/CPI & Fire Card required before the start date
2 professional references

Description:

A correctional nurse delivers evidenced-based nursing to protect, promote, and optimize health and abilities; prevent illness and injury; facilitate healing; alleviate suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response with care and respect. A correctional nurse advocates for individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations under the jurisdiction of the justice system.

Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions.
Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments.
Recording patient vital signs and medical information.
Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests.
