Still in school and ready to get real salon experience?
At Salon Halo, teamwork comes first, and education is the foundation everything is built on. Our Pre-Apprenticeship gives current cosmetology students the chance to step inside a busy, upscale salon, learn how a top-performing team runs, and start building skills that will set you apart after graduation.
What you'll do
- Create a standout wash and blowout experience for our guests
- Support daily salon operations and help keep everything running smoothly
- Work alongside some of the industry's top stylists and see how they care for guests from start to finish
- Learn the systems and standards that keep our team at the top of the industry
Your path forward
The Pre-Apprenticeship is all about real-world salon experience: learning how a top team operates, mastering the guest experience, and building strong habits while you finish school.
After you graduate, you'll have the opportunity to move into our award-winning Apprenticeship Program, where your structured education begins, including:
- Weekly small-group classes with specialized instructors
- Hands-on training with live models
- Our weekly whole-team Master Program
Who this is for
- Current cosmetology students who are 300–600 hours into their program
- Students available to work on Mondays at this location
- Self-motivated, coachable team players who are eager to learn
- Anyone who wants a head start on their career before graduation
Who this isn't for
- Graduates who are licensed or working toward their license (check out our Apprenticeship Program instead!)
- Anyone not currently enrolled in a cosmetology program

This position is for students currently enrolled in a board-approved Florida cosmetology program. The Pre-Apprenticeship supplements your school education and does not replace the 1,200 hours or state licensing requirements.
