This role focuses on cost analysis, job costing, profitability reporting, and financial support across a growing multi-division organization. The Cost Accountant will help improve financial visibility, strengthen cost controls, and support operational decision-making.What You'll OwnMaintain and analyze job costing, cost allocations, and profitability reportingPrepare inventory valuation, cost forecasting, and variance analysisAnalyze labor, materials, overhead, and operational expenses to identify cost-saving opportunitiesSupport month-end close activities, reconciliations, and financial reportingAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysisPartner with operations and leadership to improve cost controls and reporting accuracySupport ERP/accounting system workflows and data integrityAssist with audit support, compliance, and internal control initiativesWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of accounting or cost accounting experienceStrong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial analysisExperience with job costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysisProficiency with ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilitiesExperience in construction, IT, project-based, or multi-division environments is a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
