Cost Accountant

Salary: $120,000–$150,000/yr

Key Responsibilities for the Cost Accountant:

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Perform inventory and cost of goods sold analysis and reconciliations
• Analyze manufacturing variances and labor productivity metrics
• Maintain and reconcile project cost ledger to the balance sheet
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve cost and inventory issues
• Develop reporting and analytics to track performance and identify improvements

Qualifications for the Cost Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 8+ years of experience, including 4+ in manufacturing accounting
• Strong Excel and ERP system experience (Costpoint preferred)
• Knowledge of project costing and government contracting (FAR, CAS preferred)
