The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a Cost Estimator with an active Secret Clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed cost estimates for repair, replacement, and modernization actions.
• Provide cost breakdowns by system, building, and priority level.
• Conduct lifecycle cost analysis and budget planning.
• Support procurement strategy and vendor selection.
• Prepare cost reports and support financial due diligence.
Experience/Skills:
• Active Secret Clearance
• Minimum 7 years of experience in cost estimating for federal facility projects.
• Proficiency in cost estimation methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of federal procurement and budgeting requirements.
• Ability to provide accurate and timely cost data for decision-making.
Education Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field required.
• Certification as a Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or equivalent preferred.
