What You''ll Do

The Role We are currently launching a brand-new manufacturing facility in the Houston area, offering a unique opportunity to help build a plant''s financial operations from the ground up with the backing and stability of a global tech leader.

Reporting directly to the Plant Controller, the Cost & Financial Analyst will be a critical partner to our local leadership team. In this role, you will help us implement Sanmina's established corporate finance policies at the local level. We are looking for an experienced analyst who excels at standard costing and closing the books, but who also wants to use their advanced Excel skills to bring actionable insights to the Controller, maximize process efficiency, and drive profitability for this new site.

What You''ll Bring

• Education & Experience: You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, paired with 3-5 years of progressive analytical experience. Background in a manufacturing or electronics manufacturing environment is a strong plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Your MS Excel skills are advanced (pivot tables, complex formulas, and manipulating large datasets). Experience with Oracle 11i and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Chat, Calendar, Drive, etc.) is helpful but not required.
• Accounting Foundation: You have a solid practical understanding of cost accounting principles, standard costing, corporate finance, and month-end close mechanics.
• Communication & Leadership: You have a strong ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data and present conclusions clearly to leadership. You are capable of spearheading cross-departmental projects.
• Work Style: You have excellent time management skills and a "builder''s" mentality. You thrive in a fast-paced, newly established environment, working effectively both independently and as part of a growing team.
