Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility in Bainbridge Island.
The ideal candidate will have prior SNF experience and proficiency with Net Health documentation systems, as this individual will serve as the sole OT staff member at the facility. Strong clinical independence, organization, and communication skills are essential.

We are also open to considering a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for this role, depending on compensation expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical impairments under Occupational Therapist supervision and in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Administer rehabilitation procedures including:
    • ADL retraining
    • Therapeutic activities and exercises
    • Modalities
    • Supportive and assistive device training
  • Monitor and document patient progress using Net Health EMR.
  • Communicate effectively with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
  • Report treatment effectiveness and patient outcomes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current and active state licensure/registration (Washington State)
  • SNF experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with Net Health documentation system preferred
  • Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome to apply
