About Opendoor
At Opendoor our mission is to tilt the world in favor of homeowners and those who aim to become one. Homeownership matters. It's how people build wealth, stability, and community. It's how families put down roots, how neighborhoods strengthen, how the future gets built. We've built an end-to-end online experience that has already helped thousands of people and we're just getting started.
About the Team
Opendoor's Corporate Legal team is seeking an experienced contracts professional to join as Counsel, Commercial and help scale a modern, business-minded contracting function at a public company reinventing the real estate industry. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong commercial judgment with a practical, service-oriented approach and an interest in improving processes and commercial relationships over time.
This role reports to the Head of Corporate Legal and may be based in any of our U.S. offices (Miami, San Francisco, Seattle, or Tempe) or in our Toronto, Canada office. The team primarily collaborates during Pacific Time business hours. This is an in-person role and candidates must be based within a 50-mile commuting distance of an Opendoor office and able to be physically present in the office 4 days a week.
