CHC is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction. CHC has been a critical part of Ohio’s efforts to treat and prevent substance use disorders since 1974. We are looking for Counselors/Therapists who will join us in our mission of helping those in our community and are specifically looking for a Women's Treatment Counselor to join our Women's Residential Team. Women's Residential Counselors provide direct service to our clients at our Touchstone location through both individual and group counseling. Counselors provide individual and group counseling by evaluating assessments for identified patients and their family members and based on findings, facilitating a timely and appropriate treatment plan, and coordinating said plan with available agency services and the community.
