Location: Houston, TX - Remote

Pay Rate: Starting at $41.00/hour

Schedule:Part-Time | 20 hours per week

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Counselor to support a leading healthcare organization in Houston, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed counseling professional who is experienced in providing individualized clinical care through behavioral and psychological interventions, assessment techniques, and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized clinical care using appropriate behavioral and psychological interventions and assessment techniques.

   

• Develop and deliver individualized, psychologically based treatment plans based on patient needs.

   

• Conduct clinical assessments and apply appropriate counseling techniques and interventions.

   

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical activities, assessments, treatment plans, and patient interactions.

   

• Participate in clinical programs, research activities, or treatment protocols as assigned.

   

• Perform quality assurance activities to support accurate data collection and documentation.

   

• Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare policies, procedures, and professional standards.

   

• Protect patient confidentiality and maintain appropriate clinical records.

   

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other members of the clinical team as needed.

   

• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and sound clinical judgment when working with patients.

   

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

   

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related counseling field required.

   

• Minimum of 1 year of post-master's counseling experience required.

   

• One of the following Texas licenses required upon hire:
  • LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor preferred

     

  • LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker

     

  • LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker

     

  • LMFT - Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

     

  • LPA - Licensed Psychological Associate

     

   

• Strong knowledge of behavioral and psychological interventions and assessment techniques.

   

• Experience developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.

   

• Excellent clinical documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

   

• Strong ability to work independently in a remote clinical environment.

   

• Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach.

   

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable healthcare and professional standards.
