About the Role:
Fork & Knife LLC is looking for an energetic and friendly Counter Server to join our team in Flemington, NJ! If you love great food, fast-paced environments, and making customers smile, this is the perfect opportunity for you.



Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders at the counter
• Accurately process orders using a POS system and handle cash and card transactions
• Prepare and assemble menu items quickly and to quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked counter and service area
• Answer customer questions about the menu, ingredients, and daily specials
• Restock supplies, condiments, and packaging materials as needed
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code guidelines

Requirements:

• Prior experience in food service, counter service, or a customer-facing role preferred
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one a plus
