Position Summary

The Courier's role is to pick up/drop off documents, mail, packages, boxes, and other items and deliver to businesses and residences throughout Maricopa County and surrounding areas. They will also be required to file documents at the County Courthouses, obtain record requests from the records department, make copies of records, complete limited process serving requests, submit request for police reports, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick up/drop off documents, mail, packages, boxes, and other items and deliver to businesses and residences

• File documents at the County Courthouses

• Obtain record requests from the records department, and copies of records

• Complete limited process serving requests

• Submit request for police reports

• Establish strong working relationship with clients

• Inform Supervisor of any problems

Job Qualifications:

• Must use own vehicle (Access to a truck, van, or large SUV is a plus)
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record (2 points or less)
• Valid Auto Insurance - checked quarterly
• Must pass background check
• Courier or driving experience required
• Ability to be professional and helpful to all clients
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail is critical
• Drive in a courteous manner and follow all traffic laws
• High School graduate or GED equivalent

Additional Requirements:

• MUST be able to lift and carry boxes weighing 50 lbs.
• May use dolly to assist with large box deliveries
• Be willing to work overtime as needed

Schedule/Location:

• Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:30pm
