Position Overview: The Crane Operator is responsible for operating both manual and hydraulic lattice boom cranes, cherry pickers, and forklifts to safely and efficiently move materials and equipment. The ideal candidate must have experience performing load chart calculations and hold a mobile crane certification.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate manual and hydraulic lattice boom cranes, cherry pickers, and forklifts.
Perform load chart calculations to ensure safe operation of lifting equipment.
Inspect and maintain cranes and lifting equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient lifting operations.
Move materials and equipment as required by construction and maintenance schedules.
Qualifications:
Mobile crane certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating manual and hydraulic lattice boom cranes, cherry pickers, and forklifts.
Experience performing load chart calculations.
Strong understanding of crane operation safety protocols and procedures.
Ability to inspect and maintain lifting equipment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in operating various types of cranes and lifting equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to perform accurate load chart calculations.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to crane operations.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
