Credentialing Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to support a growing healthcare organization in the Brentwood, TN area. This position will provide administrative and operational support to the credentialing team, helping ensure healthcare providers are successfully credentialed and ready to begin treating patients.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with provider credentialing experience who enjoys managing details, collaborating with multiple stakeholders, and keeping complex processes moving forward.

• Location: Brentwood, TN (On-site Monday-Thursday, Remote Friday)

• Schedule: Monday-Friday

• Type: Temporary

• Duration: 3+ months (potential for hire)

Responsibilities

• Support the provider credentialing process from onboarding through approval and activation

• Monitor and manage credentialing timelines to ensure providers are ready to begin seeing patients as scheduled

• Process, verify, and maintain provider credentialing records, licenses, certifications, and required documentation

• Track credentialing status and provide regular updates to leadership and team members

• Serve as a liaison between providers, credentialing vendors, and internal teams

• Follow up on missing documentation, expired credentials, and renewal requirements

• Support Medicare and payer enrollment-related activities as needed

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and credentialing requirements

Qualifications

• Previous provider credentialing experience required

• Experience working with physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or other healthcare provider credentialing processes

• Familiarity with CAQH and credentialing documentation requirements

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
