Credit Analyst - Berea, KY

GPAC is partnering with a confidential community bank client in the Berea, KY area to hire a Credit Analyst. This is a strong seat for an analyst who wants real exposure to lending decisions and a clear path toward a lending or credit officer role.

Compensation: $40K-$90K

What you'll do
- Analyze business and personal financial statements and tax returns for commercial, agricultural, and consumer credit requests
- Spread financials and calculate cash flow, debt service coverage, leverage, and liquidity
- Underwrite new loans and renewals and write clear credit memos with risk ratings and recommendations
- Partner with lenders on loan structure, collateral, and covenants
- Monitor the portfolio, track covenant compliance and financial reporting, and flag emerging risk
- Support loan review, exam preparation, and credit policy compliance

What we look for
- Hands-on financial statement analysis experience, typically 1-3+ years in credit, lending, or accounting
- Experience spreading financials and underwriting commercial or ag credits (tell us the loan types and sizes you've worked on)
- Strong command of cash flow analysis, global cash flow, and debt service coverage
- Clear, concise credit memo writing
- Familiarity with spreading software such as Moody's, Sageworks/Abrigo, or similar is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business
