What You'll Do:
• Contact customers with delinquent loans or negative account balances by phone and mail to discuss repayment options and identify workable solutions.
• Evaluate the financial circumstances of delinquent borrowers and recommend appropriate collection actions.
• Assist with decisions involving collateral recovery or repossession when necessary.
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of customer communications, payment arrangements, and collection activity.
• Prepare reports detailing account statuses, collection efforts, and outcomes as assigned.
• Provide testimony or documentation for legal proceedings when required.
• Identify and communicate trends that may affect delinquent or charged-off loans and future underwriting decisions.
• Support additional collection and account-management responsibilities as needed.


What We’re Looking For:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of collections, financial services, or account management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial conversations with professionalism, tact, and empathy.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate account documentation.
• Dependable team player who can manage responsibilities effectively in a professional environment.
