Summary of Position:

A Jeppesen Crew Management Consultant specializes in advising airlines and aviation organizations on

optimizing crew scheduling, compliance, and operations using Jeppesen's Crew & Fleet Solutions (e.g.,

Crew Pairing, Rostering, Tracking, and Crew Access). This role involves implementation, training, and

process improvement to enhance efficiency while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Major Responsibilities:

Lead Jeppesen Crew Management System deployments (e.g., Crew Pairing, Rostering, Fatigue

Risk Management).

Configure and customize solutions to align with airline business rules, union agreements, and

regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA Part 117, EASA FTL).

Optimize crew utilization, reduce costs, and minimize disruptions through data-driven scheduling

strategies.

Ensure crew schedules comply with local and international aviation regulations (e.g., EU Ops,

ICAO, CAA).

Advise on Fatigue Risk Management Systems (FRMS) and safety compliance.

Conduct audits and gap analyses to improve crew planning processes.

• Train airline staff (planners, schedulers, crew) on Jeppesen Crew solutions.
• Develop training materials, user guides, and best practice documentation.
• Support change management during system transitions (e.g., moving from legacy systems to

Jeppesen).

• Resolve technical and operational issues related to Jeppesen Crew Tracking, Rostering, or Bidline

Systems.

• Work with Jeppesen/Boeing support teams to escalate and resolve critical problems.
• Generate KPIs and performance reports (e.g., crew productivity, deadhead costs, hotel

expenses).

• Use business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to provide actionable insights.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Experience with Jeppesen Crew Solutions (Crew Pairing, Rostering, Tracking, or Crew Access).

Familiarity with Jeppesen data structures, APIs, and integration methods.

Understanding of crew planning, airline operations, and labor agreements (CBAs).

Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., FAA, EASA, DGCA).

Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced functions), and data analysis.

Experience with system migrations and process automation.

Ability to present complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a flight crew management environment.

Certification in Jeppesen solutions (e.g., Jeppesen Crew or FliteDeck training).

Previous experience as an airline crew scheduler, planner, or dispatcher.

Knowledge of AI/ML applications in crew optimization.
