Critical Care Supply Tech - Emergency Department

Sinai Hospital's Emergency Department is a newly expanded, 70,000-square-foot Level II Trauma Center built to meet growing community demand. A $50 million expansion doubled the department's footprint and added expanded trauma bays, larger treatment rooms, a state-of-the-art radiology suite, and dedicated behavioral health and pediatric areas for specialized, safe, and efficient care.

Summary:

The Critical Care Supply Technician serves as a key operational support role within the department, ensuring the unit remains organized, equipped, and ready to provide safe, efficient patient care. This position is responsible for working closely with central distribution to manage supply inventory , stock clinical areas, troubleshooting and coordinating repairs of equipment, submitting and tracking work orders, and maintaining an organized care environment.

• Support departmental operations by coordinating uniform distribution, assisting with onboarding and orientation of new staff, creating and posting signage, and helping implement new processes, initiatives, and workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership, clinical staff, facilities, materials management, and other hospital departments to address operational needs and ensure resources are available to support patient care.
• Assists with a variety of operational and administrative functions as assigned.
• May assist in a clinical support capacity during emergencies, critical staffing situations, or other extraordinary circumstances.

Experience:

• Less than one year

• Associate's Degree preferred

• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Current Maryland CNA certification (CNA-I or CNA-II) required.

Pay Range: $20.00 to $24.75 Based On Experience
