About the Employer
The Goleta Union School District (GUSD) serves approximately 3,384 students in preschool through sixth grade across nine elementary schools. All schools offer transitional kindergarten and strong support services, including special education and mental health, in addition to after-school care at all nine schools supporting approximately 1,500 students. GUSD offers embedded programs to address specific needs of gifted students and English Learners across the district. Each school maintains a 1.0-1.5 full time positions to support intervention needs for all students. With small class sizes, a focus on a science based approach to literacy, STEAM, and strong community partnerships, GUSD is committed to a district vision providing powerful instruction, purposeful individualization, and productive partnerships that lead to positive evidence of student growth and success.

Various School Sites Shift is split 7:30-8:30am and 2:30-3:30pm. Under the direction of the School Site Principal, escort school children safely across designated street intersections; assist in directing traffic to and from school grounds.
