Crossing Guard

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused School Crossing Guard to help ensure the safe crossing of students, families, and pedestrians before and after school. The ideal candidate is reliable, observant, and enjoys working with children and the community.

Responsibilities:

• Safely assist students and pedestrians in crossing designated intersections.
• Control traffic using established safety procedures and crossing equipment.
• Monitor traffic conditions and remain alert to potential hazards.
• Promote safe pedestrian behavior and provide a friendly, professional presence.
• Arrive on time and be available during scheduled morning and afternoon shifts.
• Report safety concerns, incidents, or hazardous conditions to the appropriate supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Must be dependable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in busy traffic situations.
• Must pass any required background checks and training.
