CRSF Program Training Specialist
The Clinical and Translational Science Institute is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Clinical Research Support Office (CRSO) as a CRSF Program Training Specialist. The CRSF Program Training Specialist is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of training programs and educational content to support clinical research coordinators and study teams. This role focuses on teaching and creating structured, competency-based learning materials that promote high-quality, compliant, and efficient clinical research practices across the institution. This program specialist collaborates with institutional stakeholders to ensure training programs align with federal regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and University policies, with an emphasis on human subject's research protections and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
CRSF Program Training Specialist ResponsibilitiesDevelop, design, and implement training materials, tools, and targeted curriculum for clinical research coordinators and study teams
Create role-based and competency-driven training content that supports the safe and compliant conduct of clinical research
Ensure all materials align with human subject's research protections, GCP, FDA regulations, and institutional policies
Organize, maintain, and regularly update training materials to reflect evolving regulatory requirements and best practices
Support development and delivery of clinical research training programs, including continuing education for coordinators
Assist in standardizing training approaches across departments to ensure consistency and quality
Participate in the evaluation and continuous improvement of training programs using feedback and performance metrics
Coordinate training content development with departments across campus and external stakeholders
Partner with CRSO teams, IRB, and compliance offices to ensure training reflects real-world research processes and institutional expectations
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships to support ongoing training initiatives and workforce development efforts

Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).

Program Specialists, III: Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience.
