Export Logistics CSR

The Export Logistics Coordinator / Customer Service Representative manages international customer orders from order entry through final delivery. This role works closely with Sales, Engineering, Production, Shipping, and freight partners to coordinate export projects, prepare shipping documentation, ensure compliance, and provide timely updates to customers.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and experienced with export logistics, ERP systems, and international shipping processes.

Responsibilities may include:

• Manage export orders and projects from order entry through delivery.
• Prepare and process export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and other compliance paperwork.
• Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and internal departments.
• Monitor shipment schedules and provide customers with timely updates.
• Process customer orders, purchase orders, quotes, and shipping information within an ERP system.
• Support Sales and Engineering with customer quotes and project documentation.
• Resolve customer inquiries and shipment issues while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout each project.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and export regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Nature and scope:

• Manages multiple export projects with minimal supervision.
• Coordinates with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, compliant deliveries.
• Uses sound judgment to resolve logistics and customer issues.

Knowledge and skills:

• Knowledge of export logistics and international shipping.
• Experience with export documentation and compliance.
• ERP system experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Required skills:

• 3+ years of Export Logistics or International Shipping experience.
• 3+ years of Customer Service experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with export documentation and freight coordination.
• ERP system experience.
• Experience supporting Sales and Engineering with quotes.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred skills:

• SAP experience.
• Letters of Credit experience.
• LNG project support experience.
