Job Duties:

  • The Senior Accountant/Fiscal Analyst will assess the performance of the Call Center and State Disbursement Unit (SDU) contractor in the execution of their contractual duties and responsibilities. The Senior Accountant/Fiscal Analyst will also be a primary point of contact for Clerks of Court and Partners questions or concerns and for sending relevant child support information to them. The Senior Accountant/Fiscal Analyst will perform other duties that assist with the effectiveness and efficiency of collection and disbursement of child support payments.

  • Review, research, address and manage outstanding checks. The employee will attempt to contact the payee to gather information needed to reissue the check.

  • Review daily copies of child support checks that are received by the CSSD mail room and initiate any necessary actions to contact the payee to make child support payments to the SDU at the addresses as appropriate.

  • Review and research daily, weekly and monthly key performance indicator reports received from the Call Center and SDU contractor and document areas that they are not performing in accordance with the service level agreements in the Call Center and SDU contract.

  • Develop a detailed knowledge of the contract between DSS/CSSD and the contractor that operates the SDU and Call Center and be able to assess compliance to the contract terms related to SDU and Call Center operations.

  • Serve as liaison between CSSD Financial Services and the Clerks of Court offices and other partners for questions and information related to child support financial topics and concerns.

  • Conduct reviews of the PACSS Financial Management standard operating procedures to assess compliance, identify operation gaps and develop recommendations for program improvement.

  • Create, maintain, and update assigned Excel spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.

  • Ensure that personal identifying information (PII) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared and disposed of. Protect the agency networks and applications by safeguarding system, equipment and data.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field and two (2) years of professional experience in a related area such as accounting, business administration, finance, auditing or budgeting.
