Job Description

CST-CVOR position available in Florence, South Carolina. This is a 6-month assignment with a day shift. The position, requires at least 1 year of experience and NBSTSA certification, and has 3 openings. On-call is required.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare the operating room, instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
Assist surgeons during invasive and non-invasive surgical procedures.
Maintain a sterile environment and follow proper sterile techniques.
Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping.
Perform instrument, sponge, and sharps counts with the circulator.
Participate in surgical site verification and time-out procedures.
Prepare and handle surgical specimens appropriately.
Ensure surgical equipment and instruments are functioning properly.
Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization.
Assist with operating room cleaning and maintain a safe environment.
Follow infection-control protocols and use appropriate protective equipment.
