Qualifications:
Current ARRT (CT) certification required
Valid state licensure to practice as a CT Technologist
Minimum of 1 year of CT imaging experience preferred
Familiarity with advanced imaging protocols and safety procedures
Proficient in operating and troubleshooting CT equipment and PACS systems
Excellent communication skills and compassionate patient care abilities
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols
Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after imaging procedures
Prepare and administer contrast materials when required, adhering to established guidelines
Document exams, maintain accurate patient records, and monitor equipment operation
Coordinate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal diagnostic results
Adhere to all radiation safety and infection control protocols
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure equipment is serviced as needed
