What You'll Do
- Perform high-volume CT scans in a fast-paced emergency department
- Use Siemens FORCE and GE scanners, including S3000 and Sequoia models
- Handle routine ED cases, code stroke, trauma, and various diagnostic procedures
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and safety protocols
- Collaborate with medical staff for efficient patient care
- Document procedures accurately within EPIC and Visage systems
- Maintain equipment and adhere to safety standards
What You Need
- Active ARRT (R)(CT) certification and BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of similar CT experience, especially in ER or inpatient settings
- Experience with Siemens FORCE scanner is mandatory
- Ability to work night shifts, in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and patient safety
About the Assignment
This assignment is in the emergency department of a leading hospital in Charlotte, NC. You will be performing routine and emergent CT scans on a diverse patient population, including infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The department handles high caseloads with 4-5 techs on first shift, 2-3 on evening shifts, and 2 on weekends, supporting a dynamic, team-oriented environment. The role involves working with Siemens and GE scanners and utilizing systems like EPIC and Visage for imaging and documentation.
