Travel CT Technologist - Evenings

Facility: Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack Meridian Health
Location: 30 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack, NJ 07601
Pay: $82.60/hour | Estimated weekly gross: $3,304 at 40 paid hours
Schedule: Sunday Thursday, 4:00 p.m. 12:30 a.m. | Friday and Saturday off
Assignment: Travel contract; current assignment end date January 2, 2027. Actual start and final dates confirmed with your recruiter.

Required Licenses and Qualifications
Active NJDEP Diagnostic Radiography license.
Current ARRT R.T.(R) certification and AHA BLS certification.
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program; high school diploma or GED.
At least two years of relevant experience, including hands-on CT experience.
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, positioning, CT protocols, equipment and software.
PACS proficiency and competency with venipuncture, IV access and contrast administration.

Preferred Qualifications
ARRT CT certification; completion is expected within 12 months of hire if not already held.
EPIC and HIS/RIS experience.

Responsibilities
Review clinical histories and prescriptions, prepare patients and coordinate protocols with radiologists.
Acquire and assess sectional and three-dimensional CT images and ensure accurate PACS handling.
Administer contrast within approved competencies, monitor patients and respond to adverse reactions.
Explain procedures, document care and maintain safe equipment and examination areas.
Maintain required continuing education and support facility coverage needs.

Weekly earnings are estimates before taxes and depend on hours worked. The advertised rate is for this traveler position; local opportunities have a separate rate.
