    CT Technologist

    Medical City Arlington

    Shift: Part-Time, Days, Weekends Only (Saturdays and Sundays 8 A.M. - 8 P.M.)

    Job Summary and Qualifications

    The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application ofthe ionizingradiationin accordance withthe established professional and departmental standards.The CTTechnologistprovideshigh-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.     What you will do in this role:  

    • You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table. 
    • You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary. 
    • You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary. 
    • You will release customers with proper post procedure instructions. 
    • You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment. 
    • You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines. 

    What qualifications you will need:

    • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    • (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
    • (ARRT-R) Radiography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
    • (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
