Education Requirement
  • Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology and one year of radiologic experience. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Computed Tomography, and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with hospital personnel, patients, co-workers, and the public.
  • Knowledge of other modalities or willing to gain knowledge of other modalities as requested for the potential of cross-training opportunities.
  • Proficient with working with patients of all ages (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adult and elderly.)
  • Ability to perform numerous tasks at once, prioritize workload and organize workflow.
  • Must be able follow established Universal Standard and Radiation Safety precautions.
  • Position requires flexibility to accommodate fluctuation in daily schedule, including but not limited to overtime, irregular hours and on-call responsibilities.
