Onsite Flexibility: Onsite – Night Shift (12-hour)

Job Summary:

Join a multidisciplinary team as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, where you’ll play a pivotal role in cardiac diagnostics and intervention. Operate advanced fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging equipment, monitor vital signs, assist physicians during procedures, and ensure patient and staff safety through radiation control. Ideal for someone seeking a dynamic, technically advanced environment where attention to detail and adaptability are key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients, procedure rooms, and equipment for cardiac catheterization.
  • Operate diagnostic fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging tools.
  • Circulate and assist during procedures, including coronary and peripheral diagnostics.
  • Monitor vitals and deliver radiation safely.
  • Document procedures accurately for billing and compliance.
  • Archive/retrieve images via PACS.
  • Maintain, test, and calibrate imaging equipment.
  • Adapt communication and care approach to diverse patient populations.
  • Comply with safety, regulatory, and radiation guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences (Required)
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years as an allied health professional in radiology or a similar setting
  • Certifications (Required):
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA
    • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and state license

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency with PACS and imaging software
  • Strong data entry and computer skills
  • Communication and patient-handling expertise
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts

Physical & Environmental Demands:

  • Medium work: lift/move 20–50 lbs occasionally, stand/walk frequently
  • Routine exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious materials
  • May encounter hazardous medications or waste
  • High-demand environment requiring precision and quick response
