Job Summary:
The CT Technologist III includes technologists who are at an advanced level, has experience and performs CT scans that are complex in nature. May assist physicians in performing all procedures to include equipment and patient preparation, medication handling, and other duties as directed by the physician. Performs advanced cardiac imaging and associated workflows. Provide technical support to physicians when performing complex exams. Always ensures medication safety. Exercises cultural competency in providing patient education. Responsible for maintaining a safe environment and identifying and reporting any safety concerns. Assumes responsibility and accountability for patient flow by serving as technologist in charge. Has a significant role in quality improvement and makes decisions that support the goal and vision of the department.
