CT Technologist, Internal Traveler Program, Part-Time, Baptist ED Silverleaf

Baptist Health is looking to add a CT Technologist to our CT Scan Department at our Baptist ED Silverleaf locationfor our Internal Traveler Program, located in St. Augustine, FL. This position is a 12 week contract with premium pay. This position is eligible to renew their contract after 12 weeks for up to two contracts in total. This CT Technologist will work Part-Time, 24 hours per week, flexible days, with shifts of 6:30am-7:00pm. Rotating call and holiday included.

This CT Technologist's primary responsibilities are to ensure physicians and other members of a patient’s care team receive high-quality images they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments. 

CT Technologist Responsibilities: 

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines 
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures 
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams 
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance 
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results 
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures 
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards 
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions 

Experience Requirements: 

• Less than 1 year of Radiology Technologist Experience Preferred 

Education & Credential Requirements:  

• Vocational School 
• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required Or  
• Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography ARRT (CT) Required Or 
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required Or 
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
