Overview

A well-established healthcare organization is seeking a CT Technologist to join its imaging team in NY. The CT Technologist will perform a wide range of CT examinations, including biopsies and interventional CT procedures.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and dedicated to radiation safety, committed to providing excellent patient care, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT examinations, including biopsies and interventional CT procedures
• Follow radiation safety standards and protocols
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
• Maintain a strong focus on quality service and patient care
• Work collaboratively with the imaging and healthcare team
• Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work independently when required
• Adapt to changing work volumes and departmental priorities

Required Qualifications

Education

• Minimum Associate's degree from a Radiologic Sciences program

Certification & Licensure

• ARRT credentials for diagnostic imaging
• New York State license
• Enhanced NYS license for injection must be obtained on or before completion of the introductory period
• ARRT certification in CT is preferred
• Candidates who are not currently CT-certified must obtain CT certification within one year of the date of hire
• CT certification within one year is not required for per diem employees, although certification is still preferred

Experience

• Two years of experience preferred
• New graduates are welcome

Schedule

• Full-time
• Days/Evenings FLEX
• Anticipated schedule of 3×12-hour shifts or 4×10-hour shifts
• Rotating weekends
• Shift differentials available for evenings, nights, and weekends according to schedule

Location & Travel

• Onsite – Ithaca, NY
• Approximately 0%–5% travel may be required

Compensation & Benefits

• $36.00–$54.00 per hour
• $15,000 sign-on bonus
