Department: Radiology / Diagnostic Imaging
Schedule: Full-Time, Nights, 8 hour shifts

Location: Lewiston, ME

Responsibilities:
- Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures according to physician orders and radiology protocols
- Produce high-quality diagnostic CT images while maintaining radiation safety standards
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans, verifying patient identity and explaining procedures
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment to ensure optimal image quality and safety
- Assist Radiologists and physicians during diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures
- Process and transmit CT images to PACS for interpretation and storage
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to patient care needs
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
- Follow infection control, radiation safety, and hospital compliance standards
Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
2. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.
3. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
4. Radiology/ CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
5. ARRT-CT Certification is required
6. Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
7. Proficient computer skills.
