Key responsibilities include:
- Performing high-quality CT and PET imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Coordinating patient workflows for efficient use of imaging equipment and resources
- Adhering to established protocols, maintaining accurate patient records, and following regulatory standards
- Collaborating with radiologists and referring physicians to provide timely and precise diagnostic information
- Maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment, reporting technical issues promptly
Qualifications:
- ARRT (CT) certification and/or NMTCB (PET) certification
- Previous experience performing CT and/or PET imaging in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and effectively during weekend hours
- NY state licensure or eligibility as required for imaging professionals
