The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic-quality CT imaging procedures to enhance patient care.
Consistently practice radiation safety along with dose reduction when appropriate.
Provide education to patients on radiologic procedures and safety protocols.
Ensure accuracy of ordered exam and compliance with workflow guidelines per policy.
Answer department phones professionally and complete scanning documentation as required.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
Associate degree from an accredited school of radiology technology
Registered by the ARRT (R)
Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
