Required Skills:
- ARRT Certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (ARRT-R and ARRT-CT)
- BLS Certification (American Red Cross or ARC) or BLS-Instructor Certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology, with preference given for CT experience
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with physicians, patients, and staff
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure
- Attention to detail and excellent multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and radiation safety protocols
- Competency in patient positioning, exposure factors, and quality control procedures
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications or training in advanced imaging techniques
- Experience with hospital-based, epic EHR systems
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills to improve patient communication
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduates of accredited Radiologic Technology programs
- Over one year of professional experience in a fast-paced hospital radiology department
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work night shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM) and alternate weekends for call obligations
- Willingness to obtain any additional certifications if required
- Valid licensure, certification, and compliance with all hospital policies and professional standards
- Contract duration of 6 weeks with potential for future opportunities
