About the Position

Keith Hawthorne Hyundai is looking for a motivated, dependable, and mechanically inclined individual to join our service team as an Entry-Level Automotive Technician (C-Level Technician).

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in the automotive repair industry. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a desire to develop their technical skills while working alongside experienced technicians in a professional dealership environment.

Our service department offers a comfortable, heated and air-conditioned shop, along with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience performing vehicle maintenance, completing recall repairs, and assisting our experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and other basic maintenance services.

Complete manufacturer-required recall repairs and campaigns in accordance with dealership procedures and manufacturer guidelines.

Assist experienced technicians with repairs, inspections, and diagnostic procedures as needed.

Perform basic automotive repairs within your current skill level and training.

Follow dealership repair procedures and maintain accurate documentation of work performed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Keep tools and equipment properly maintained and stored.

Follow all dealership safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Participate in ongoing training to improve automotive knowledge and technical skills.

Perform additional duties as needed to support the service department.

Qualifications

Basic automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude.

A willingness to learn and develop automotive repair skills.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.

Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Valid driver''s license with a driving record acceptable to dealership insurance requirements.

Ability to safely use basic automotive tools and equipment.

Previous automotive experience, technical school training, or hands-on mechanical experience is preferred but not required.
